Sanat ve İktidar Üzerine Görsel Eleştiriler

The starting point of the concept of power, which is the essence of the research, was formed as a result of the effects of the chaos in our country and the successive explosions. The traces left by these events have led me not to do further research on art and power, and as a result of these researches to produce a series of works in the context of plastic arts. The owners of power who have effective power in historical processes have caused many wars, violence, discrimination, bullying, othering and massacres. The reason for these massacres stems from the power struggle. The concept of power, which means meanings such as power, power, comes into existence in many structures such as knowledge, talent, status, economy, religion and sexuality that create personality characteristics of the society starting from bilateral human relations. The rulers provide this power with force, terrorization, intimidation, suppression, symbolic or physical violence. In this research, the effects of power structures on the society and the individual are examined in the context of plastic arts. In addition, concepts such as migration, identity, race, gender and the other, which emerged as a result of the policies implemented by the structures of power, have been examined together with the works of post-modern artists. Furthermore, in the research, artistic reflections of the traces left on me in the post-1980 world and today's events take place along with the analysis of practice studies.Araştırmanın özü olan iktidar kavramının çıkış noktası ülkemizde yaşanan kaos ortamının etkileri ve ardı ardına gerçekleşen patlamalar sonucunda oluşmuştur. Yaşanan olayların bende bıraktığı izler sanat ve iktidar üzerine daha fazla araştırma yapmama ve bu araştırmalar sonucunda plastik sanatlar bağlamında bir dizi iş üretmeme neden olmuştur. Tarihi süreçlerde de etkin gücü elinde bulunduran iktidar sahipleri birçok savaşa, şiddete, ayrımcılığa, zorbalığa, ötekileştirmeye ve katliamlara neden olmuştur. Bu katliamların nedeni ise iktidar mücadelesinden kaynaklanmaktadır. Kudret, erk gibi anlamlara gelen iktidar kavramı ikili insan ilişkilerden başlayarak toplumun kişilik özelliklerini var eden bilgi, yetenek, statü, ekonomi, din ve cinsellik gibi birçok yapıda karşımıza çıkmaktadır. İktidar sahipleri bu gücü zor kullanma, yıldırma, korkutma, sindirme, sembolik veya fiziksel şiddetten biriyle sağlayabiliyor. Araştırmada iktidar yapılarının toplum ve birey üzerinde etkileri plastik sanatlar bağlamında irdelenmiştir. Ayrıca iktidar yapılarının uyguladıkları politikalar sonucunda ortaya çıkan göç, kimlik, ırk, cinsiyet ve öteki gibi kavramlar modern dönem sonrası sanatçıların yapıtlarıyla birlikte ele alınarak incelenmiştir. Bunun ötesinde araştırmada 1980 sonrası dünyada ve günümüzde yaşanan olayların bende bıraktığı izlerin sanatsal yansımaları uygulama çalışmalarının analizleriyle birlikte yer almaktadır
