PERAN AKAL DALAM QS. ALI IMRAN: 190-191 TERHADAP PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

Abstract: Human, as educational subject and object, should use their thought to develop their own potency. In creating this universe, Allah Swt has intentions and no useless. The human should ponder over their mind, because the mind is the most beloved creature of Allah Swt. It is a spiritual potency which is able to think, know, remember, see with heart eyes, imagine, understand, analyze, observation cosmic reality, creation of the universe, besides, the mind is also able to change it. Islamic education has to be fully human education, such as mind and heart, spiritual and physical, character and skills. The meaning contained on Ali Imran: 190-191 is human mind works hard without thinking about time, since it always thinks and dzikr to acquire knowledge. The minds’ role is very important in determining education goals and curriculum. Based on Ali Imran: 190-191, the mind aim is to think (tafakkur) and remember (tadzakkur). In the implementation, education has to consider mind potential, so the Islamic education objectives, materials, methods and approach should foster the mind. The reflection process of tafakkur and tadzakkur, in every condition, the human will always remember to Allah Swt and become ulul albâb
