The present research was done during the second semester of 2004 in order to evaluate viability of passionfruit seed stored in different containers and temperature. A factorial (2X3) complete randomized design with four replicates for each treatment was used, factor A was container: plastic bag (PB) and hard plastic (HP); while factor B stands for cold room (CR, 5±1°C and 38±2% RH), freezer (F, 5±2 °C and 78% RH) and room temperature (RT, 24°C and 32.2°C). The evaluated variables were germination (%), vigor (%) and seed humidity (%) at 0, 30 60, 90 and 120 days after storage (DAS).
