Vigor germinativo de las semillas botánicas del piñón blanco (Jatropha Curcas l.), en Tarapoto – San Martín

In the present investigation, we evaluated the germination of 100 seeds per treatment Piñón, from the ecotype Totorillaico. The collected seeds were stored at room temperature indoors and in refrigeration, storage intervals corresponding to the need to separate at least 15 days between the treatment facility in relation to another, with assessments of an average of 10 days as indicated by Cuculiza (1956), and the availability of seeds needed for research work. In the results, the germination rate of seeds decreases white Sprocket - 3.8532%. Seeds stored at room temperature slightly exceeded those seeds that were stored in refrigeration at 8 ° C without implying differences between them. Germination energy of seeds is a reduction, for every day of storage, the germination rate decreases - 2.615. The seeds were soaked in general not uniformly higher averages obtained germination energy than those seeds that were soaked for 24 hours and dried under shade. Regarding the germination rate index, the overall variation was very small. The seeds without soaking yielded average rate of germination rate with a polynomial behavior and those seeds with 24 hours soaking and 24 hours of drying under shade more linear behavior with respect to storage time.En el presente trabajo de investigación, se evaluó la germinación de 100 semillas de Piñón por tratamiento, proveniente del ecotipo Totorillaico. Las semillas colectadas fueron almacenadas a temperatura ambiente bajo techo y en refrigeración, con intervalos de almacenamiento que corresponden a la necesidad de separar al menos 15 días entre la instalación de un tratamiento en relación al otro, con evaluaciones de un tiempo promedio de 10 días, por lo indicado por Cuculiza (1956), y por la disponibilidad de semillas necesarias para realizar el trabajo de investigación. En los resultados obtenidos, el porcentaje de germinación de las semillas de Piñón blanco disminuye en – 3.8532%. Las semillas almacenadas a temperatura ambiente superaron ligeramente a aquellas semillas que se almacenaron en refrigeración a 8ºC sin que esto signifique diferencias estadísticamente entre sí. La energía germinativa de las semillas sufre una reducción, que por cada día de almacenamiento, el porcentaje de germinación disminuye en – 2,615. Las semillas que no se remojaron en general obtuvieron homogéneamente mayores promedios de energía germinativa que aquellas semillas que fueron remojadas por 24 horas y secadas bajo sombra. Respecto al índice de velocidad de germinación, la variación general fue muy pequeña. Las semillas sin remojar arrojaron promedios de índice de velocidad de germinación con un comportamiento polinómico y aquellas semillas con 24 horas de remojo y 24 horas de secado bajo sombra un comportamiento más lineal respecto al tiempo de almacenamiento
