Educational reforms which are undertaken by many countries mark a major rupture with previous models of teaching and indicate the need for transformation of practices. The present text discusses the contributions and limits of scientific research in the field of Educational Science. It takes a particular interest in some research that are relate to teaching practice with regards to the construction of a Professional Training Referential that can be used for teacher training as well as the transformation of teaching practices.
