The occurrence of anemia in pregnant women is a health problem that very high incidence and fatally effected to both mother and fetus. Said to have anemia in pregnancy is if maternal hemoglobin level decreased from 11 gr/dl. Hemoglobin (Hb) is blood cells component that functioned to supply oxygen and nutrient to whole body. Low hemoglobin level of pregnant mother will adverse impact against unborn baby. One of the impact which appeared is low birth weight of baby. This happens because of lack distribution of oxygen and nutrient which is carried by the blood through placental barrier to the fetus.
