The repopulation during the reign of Felipe II is mainly the long-lasting reorganization of the Kingdom of Granada. The confiscation of the moorish (Muslims converted to Christianity) belongings and its later distribution into different administrations, is anything but a new order of lands and resources according to the new royal conceptions.
