40020050031The purpose of this study is to clarify the exercise intensity of synchronized swimming for peopel with disabilities. The participants were 5 women, 3 people with disabilities and 2 who were not. The maximum heart rate variation observed in the study was 104 to 121 beats/min. The highest maximum heart rate was observed in the case of a participant with cerebral palsy. The range of the exercise intensity of the average heart rate during swimming was 40% to 50%, which proved that the exercise had been done in physically safe condition. Additionally, we gave a questionnaire about the effect of mental and physical health of the participants in taking part in the synchronized swimming club. The results showed a positive effect of ...
