They'll go 'fore the looking glass, comb their hair and lace, Were making artificials to wear around face, They acted ..... (?) Along about the time they were sweet sixteen. You may step up to one, May I go home with you tonight? They always say, No, but their actions they will show, They look as innocent and as fancy as a queen, Along about the time when they're sweet sixteen. You may lay your arms around their neck, as a heap do, Always strike at you, but they're sure to miss you, too, They'll become all this, and on you they will lean, Along about the time when they were sixteen.
