Shunichi Ishiwatari letter of application

A typed letter of application from Mr. Shunchi Ishiwatari to the Young Men’s Christian Association (now Springfield College) dated December 7th 1926. There is a small portrait photograph attached in the upper left-hand corner. It does obscure a small portion of the text.Mr. Ishiwatari was enrolled in Kansai University for six years graduating with a Bachelor of Sciences in March, 1927. Mr. Ishiwatari also received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Springfield College in 1931. Afterwards he did graduate studies at New York University from 1931 to 1933. He worked as the Director of Physical Education at the Kobe and Osaka YMCA in Japan.A photograph covers a small part of the upper left corner of the on the item.
