The author in this study undertook to describe how European events between 1465-1475 had effects on Hungary. She came to the conclusion that Hungary in 1476 became isolated in respects of foreign politics, could make an alliance only with Naples and Papal State. This forced King Matthias I of Hungary to start war against Emperor Frederic III, to achieve that his progeny would be the king of Hungary
