In this paper, we report the process carried out to design an instrument with the objective of characterizing the teacher's Pedagogical Content Knowledge about the specific topic of cinematic graphics. This perspective has been investigated exhaustively in the last decades and considered as a guiding element in the development of training and updating programs for science teachers. Due to the importance that implies for the didactics of physics, it is relevant to provide theoretical and methodological elements to characterize this perspective.
