Described method depends on forcing a sample of wire to resonant vibrations in ultrasonic range. The full fatigue properties of material can be found out within a few hours. Results of the fatigue testing by means of the described method differ from that obtained in conventional fatigue testing; the sample is showing an apparent fastening. This fastening was defined in the tests conducted by different methods. The paper describes the method, apparatus and tests carried out to qualify the method reliability
