A Politecnia na Formação para o Trabalho Associado em Cooperativas Populares

This paper presents the discussion about the application of the politechny concept in work production organization in popular cooperatives. The politechny refers to the fusion of intellectual and manual labor, proposing the formation of polytechnic workers, holding technical and scientific knowledge about the work process, and its application to the self-management environment. This paper presents results of an empirical research conducted in four popular cooperatives – COPAVA-SP, COPAVI-PR, COOPERUNIÃOSC and COOPAN-RS – describing their history and work organization. More specifically, we have analyzed the associated labor formation in popular cooperatives and the real possibilities of polytechnic application. A politecnia se refere à fusão do trabalho intelectual e do manual, propondo a formação de trabalhadores politécnicos, detentores de conhecimentos técnicos e científicos acerca do processo de trabalho e sua aplicação no ambiente de autogestão. O texto apresenta resultados de pesquisa empírica realizada em quatro cooperativas populares – COPAVA-SP, COPAVI-PR, COOPERUNIÃO-SC e COOPAN-RS – descrevendo sua trajetória e a organização do trabalho em seu interior.
