French version available in IDRC Digital LibraryThe Open Data Barometer (ODB) is a way to measure how governments are publishing and using open data for accountability, innovation and social impact. The 4th edition reviews how the 115 governments in the study are performing relative to the principles of the Open Data Charter. Findings show that open data remains the exception, not the rule. Research data collection is carried out using an online survey tool. The ODB forms part of the World Wide Web Foundation’s work on common assessment methods for open data.World BankUnited Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DFID)Global Affairs Canada (GAC
