PENGARUH LATIHAN RELAKSASI OTOT PROGRESIF TERHADAP PENURUNAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN PADA LANJUT USIA DI KELURAHAN BUNULREJO MALANG

Background: Elderly is a physiological change naturally and continuously that everyone have. The Elderly might could disappointment, irritability, harassment and physical decline, especially the elderly health namely cardiovascular, musculoskeletal and bad feeling might anxiety caused, stress, depression or madness. The handling can be performed by progressive muscle relaxation exercise, is a movement of certain muscle relaxation in combination with breathing exercises that can reduce the level of anxiety. Method: This study used a pra-experimental design with one group pretest and posttest design using Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) measuring instruments.
