Novel sensor-equipped smartphones have enabled the possibility of harvesting large quantities of data in urban areas by opportunistically involving citizens and their portable devices, as mobile sensors widely available and distributed over Smart Cities areas, typically defined as Mobile Crowd Sensing (MCS).
