Clowns in hospitals

In recent decades, humor has become to be considered as an important component of mental health other than a mere socially desirable individual's trait. Clown therapy represents a particular way of using humor to promote people's well-being. This chapter tries to clarify the role and position of clowns in hospitals, issues related to the clown training and education, and, above all, goals of this professionals.
