Objectives For some time it has been saying in our country a new kind of tourism related to the horse, the horse trails. Technically this can be defined as a transit route on horseback, on dirt paths through interesting places in terms of landscape, culture, food etc.. Unfortunately many of these paths are the result of impromptu design, limited to simple interconnection paths and roads in accordance with the logic of the single link between two locations without taking into due account the particular needs of horse and rider. This work aims to study the specificity of horse trails, studying the technical and functional. At the same time be identified essential services of horse-rider combination to qualify the receptivity of the path of horse trails Methods To achieve this it is deemed appropriate by step through a detailed design process which will then be limited to: 1. Cartographic analysis on different scale levels in order to identify, where possible, routes and trails already in place for dealing with their connection to define a path between the maximum point of origin and arrival. 2. Individuation of parking areas, drinking water, relief. 3.
