Introduction: the organizational climate consists of characteristics perceived by workers within the work environment and it is a variable that will mediate between the organizational system factors and individual behavior in the working area. Objective: to evaluate the organizational climate and the staff´s satisfaction in a Center for rehabilitation and special education. Methods: observational, cross-sectional and descriptive study conducted, in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico. Eighty six employees working in all the areas of the institution were studied from 2013 to 2014.
