The preliminary results of two paleontological excavations carried out in the "Grotta inferiore" of the "Covoli di Velo" karst systems (Verona -Italy) by the Department of Geology and Paleontology of the Civic Museum of Natural History of Verona are presented. The analysis of cave bear remains collected during this fieldwork is also given. Each of the three paleontological campaigns has been carried out using a scientific methodology. Currently the stratigraphic sequence is characterized by the occurrence of four levels. The investigation in the cave is very interesting as the remains are well preserved and the deposit is quite particular because it has several fossiliferous levels dominated by Ursus spelaeus and shows an associated fauna ...
