Implementación de un sistema para la selección de recursos educativos basado en estilos de aprendizaje y personalidad para apoyar al docente en la educación superior

This document is the result of a research commitment about the importance of identifying the learning styles that prevail in the university student, from a student-teacher approach, through the development of a system that proposed open educational resources to the teacher more suitable for the student, taking into account their learning style. The system sought to identify through a previous analysis what is the profile of the student's personality and learning styles, through research and choice of a psychological model. The system was designed, incorporating elements of usability, applied to a group of students of the University of San Buenaventura Cali of different faculties. The system contains a personality test of the Big 5, which allows to draw categories according to the student's learning style. It also displays information on educational resources that can be adjusted according to the learning style that prevails in the student. This type of resources serves as support to the teacher for the incorporation of strategies and materials that allow him to enhance his teaching and his joint learning with the student.El presente documento es el resultado de una apuesta investigativa acerca de la importancia de identificar cuáles son los estilos de aprendizaje que prevalecen en el estudiante universitario, desde un enfoque estudiante-docente, mediante el desarrollo de un sistema que propuso al docente los recursos educativos abiertos más adecuados para el estudiante, teniendo en cuenta su estilo de aprendizaje. El sistema busco identificar a través de un previo análisis cuál es el perfil de la personalidad del estudiante y los estilos de aprendizaje, a través de la investigación y elección de un modelo psicológico.Se diseñó el sistema, incorporando elementos de usabilidad, aplicado a un grupo de estudiantes de la Universidad de San Buenaventura Cali de diferentes facultades. El sistema contiene un test de personalidad de las 5 grandes (Big Five), que permite sacar categorías de acuerdo al estilo de aprendizaje del estudiante. Además despliega información de los recursos educativos que pueden ajustarse de acuerdo al estilo de aprendizaje que prevalece en el estudiante. Este tipo de recursos sirve de apoyo al profesor para la incorporación de estrategias y materiales que le permitan potenciar su manera de enseñar y su aprendizaje conjunto con el estudiante
