Hak Waris Anak Menurut Hukum Adat Masyarakat Osing

the osing society who resides in banyuwangi, east java maintains and holds their tradition and culture sternly osing community is a group af society who life based on the certain and typical tradition especially in their relationship the other communty and the government. this research aims to descruble the norms and procedures of children inheritance for biological children, children who born from unmarried coupe, step-children, and adopted children based on the adat law of osing society lived in banyuwangi. this research is conducted based on ideology approach where in the adat law such approach is applied to dig the ideal norms. applied to the research the ideal norm are a norm which regulates the cildren inheritance in osing society of banyuwangi. moreover, this researc is a deep study on the norm of adat law, the basics of adat law, and the application af those in society concerning how to divide and bequeath the inheritance to the cildren. the recult of this research is the structure of bilateral family or parental system applied to the most javanese family. even though it is the same, however the children inheritance system is different. in term of inheritance, osing society of banyuwangi acommodated not only the biological children, but also children who born from unmarriad couple, step-children, and adopted children based who whill receive difference portion of ther parents wealth
