Educación en valores mediante el Olimpismo en el 6º curso de Educación Primaria

The influence of sports on the integral formation of nowadays children and teenagers is well known by everyone. Through sports, a unique self-identity feeling arise in them, while they work-out their bodies, physical condition and minds. In this final degree Project, a teaching unit to work the educational values of Olympics in 6th year Physical Education classes is proposed. The aim is, mixing culture, sports and education, to apply Olympics educational ideals, and so, propitiate unique opportunities to have a positive impact on the formation of those students. The methodology used all along the teaching unit is mainly active and participative; this methodology is distinguished for having a playful component, where learning is boosted through games. It also has an interactive, creative and flexible character, given the absence of a rigid model. For these reasons the following teaching unit is designed, along which the different values of Olympics will be worked-out through several activities, both in the classroom and in the sports field. Inculcating the Olympics ideals such as effort, respect for others, sportsmanship, etc… will be our contribution from the classroom to improve society and achieve a better world.Es sabido por todos la influencia que el deporte tiene en la formación integral de los niños y adolescentes de nuestra sociedad hoy en día. A través del deporte, se genera en ellos un sentimiento de identidad propia único, al tiempo que trabajan sus cuerpos, su forma física y sus mentes. En este Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG) se plantea una propuesta de Unidad Didáctica para el trabajo de los valores educativos del Olimpismo en el 6º curso de Educación Primaria en la asignatura de Educación Física. Se pretende, mezclando cultura, deporte y educación, aplicar los valores educativos del olimpismo en este curso y de esta manera propiciar oportunidades únicas de influir en la formación de los alumnos de una manera positiva. La metodología que se llevará a cabo durante el desarrollo de la Unidad Didáctica será mayoritariamente activa y participativa, caracterizada por tener un componente lúdico y en la que el aprendizaje se impulsa a través del juego. Tiene además un carácter interactivo, creativo y flexible, ya que no existe un modelo rígido. Por estos motivos, se diseña la siguiente Unidad Didáctica en la que se trabajarán cada uno de los valores del Olimpismo (esfuerzo, respeto por los demás, deportividad; etc.) a través de diferentes actividades tanto en el aula como en la pista polideportiva, contribuyendo desde las aulas a mejorar la sociedad y lograr un mundo mejor
