Les auteurs se penchent sur l'évolution de la répartition spatiale des tumeurs malignes en Haute Silésie (Pologne). Cette recherche présente l'incidence des affections cancéreuses, selon l'âge, le sexe et l'organe atteint. La classification des unités territoriales selon l'âge médian fait apparaître une répartition spatiale spécifique de la morbidité en fonction de la concentration des établissements industriels. L'accroissement récent des incidences de cancers devient moins rapide en Silésie qu'au niveau national.
