Geographical differences in the occurrence of cancer can be figured out. Cancer of particular organs shows a different frequency in occurrence in various regions. The analysis was performed without the differentiation of sex which distorts to a certain degree the achieved results because the cancer mortality differs with males and females. The reason lies in the fact that the mortality in dependence on the cause of death in the Czech Socialistic Republic has not been distinguished according to sex.
