Receptor-Mediated Maturation of Olfactory Sensory Neurons: A Time Course Evaluation of Neuronal Maturation in Neomorphic Mutants

How expression of odorant receptors affects the maturation of olfactory sensory neurons (OSNs) is not known. In a time course experiment, we show that wild type OSNs mature significantly more than those expressing Neomorphic mutant receptors.
