CONCENTRATION AND FLUX PROFILES OF PCBS, DDTS AND PAHS IN A DATED SEDIMENT CORE FROM THE LAGOON OF VENICE

oncentrations of chlorinated hydrocarbons (p, p′-DDT, DDD, DDE, polychlorinated biphenyls) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were determined by GC, GC-MS and HPLC in the 15 sections of a 210Pb radiodated sediment core (50 cm length; 10 cm id) sampled in the lagoon of Venice.
