Recent collecting and studying in herbaria have called forth the following notes on some of the rarer plants of Iowa. The writer\u27s collections have been, or will be, deposited in the herbaria of Iowa State Teachers College (ISTC), Iowa State College (ISC), the State University of Iowa (SUI), and, for Dickinson County plants, the Iowa Lakeside Laboratory at Lake Okoboji (ILL). Accordingly, herbarium citations are not given for the writer\u27s collections.
