In dieser Arbeit wurden zwei Arten 3D-photonischer Kristalle (opale und invers-opale) durch Kapillar-Abscheidungsverfahren (CDM) hergestellt. Das Ziel der Arbeit ist die detaillierte Bestimmung der gebildeten Kristallstrukturen sowie die Analyse der Kristalldefekte. Die ersten Ergebnisse von Neutronenbeugungsergbnissen (SANS) zeigen, daß sich fast perfekte fcc-Gitter bilden mit Gitterkonstanten von 361 nm und 255 nm. In Bezug auf die Messgenauigkeit liegt die Abweichung vom perfekten fcc-Gitter unter 3,3% in der Länge oder unter 2° im Winkel. Allerdings konnte die Existenz zweier verzwillingter fcc-Strukturen durch \(\chi\)-Drehversuche in den SANS-Messungen gezeigt werden, wobei beide fast gleich häufig auftreten.
