The objective of this article is to analyze the psychosocial processes of perception and memory in the effectiveness of advertising jingles. The methodology used was the documentary review. The results show that commercial advertising has historically appealed to emotional persuasion to positively affect the perception and memory of ads. Music is a key factor in appealing to the emotional with sticky rhythms and melodies that announce and identify a brand or product. The conclusions show that the effectiveness of the announcement is in the recall of the message and in the increase of sales.
