The Galician Medieval Literature is one of the founding pillars of popular and erudite literary corpora in Romania. In this paper, an approach to the birth of Medieval Galician Literature is taken from a didactic philological perspective, which is usually dominated by critics’ laziness. With this article, therefore, we will conduct a dialogue between popular literature and serious literature to evaluate the relationship of the first Galician literary texts in connection to historical ones, discovering to an extent, the birth and continuation of Galician literature from a philological perspective.
