Somatotropina porcina exógena (STp) y su relación con los aminoácidos de la dieta en cerdos de finalización

Introduction. The porcine somatotropine hormone from a recombinant origin (STp) is a compound that modificates metabolism and is used in pork industry during the growth and finalization stages. It allows a different proportion of tissue deposition in the final product. Materials and methods. In this study 90 pigs were used ( 90,5± 0.4kg) during 28 days, in which the response to 4 doses of STp was evaluated (a daily intramuscular injection during 28 days): 0, 2, 4 and 6 mg/pig and 2 true ileal digestible lysine relations towards metabolizable energy (LYSEM): 2,15 (7/3, 25) and 2,72 (9g of Lys/3.3 Mcal of EM/kg) over the daily food consuming (CDA in Spanish), the daily gain of weight (GDP in Spanish), dorsal fat (P2) (GD), chop eye area (AOCH in Spanish) and gain of fat free loin tissue (GTMLG in Spanish). Results. For the variables CDA, GDP, GD, AOCH and GDTMLG, significative statistic differences were found (p<0,05) between the treatments, obtaining the highest performances in the Animals that received the treatment with the maximum STp level and LYSEM in their diets. Discussion. The increment in the energetic consuming for the maintenance for the use of increasing levels of STp and LYSEM is associated, partly, to the increment of a rate until 60% in the proteic re-change rate, and to a reduction in the lipogenesis, more than to an effect on the lipolysis. Conclusions. The use of STp could increase the weight of the pigs in process for slaughter, without affecting the payment for the quality of the processed meat.Introdução. O hormônio Somatotropina suíno de origem recombinante (STp), é um composto modificador do metabolismo que se utiliza em porcos em crescimento e para o abate, o qual permite a deposição de uma diferente proporção de tecidos na canal. Materiais e métodos. Neste estudo se utilizaram um total de 90 porcos (90,5± 0.4kg) durante 28 dias, nos quais se avaliou a resposta a quatro dose de STp (injeção intramuscular diária durante 28 dias): 0, 2, 4 e 6 mg/porco e 2 relações lisina digestível ileal verdadeira a energia metabólica (LYSEM): 2,15 (7/3,25) e 2,72 (9 g de Lys/3,3 Mcal de EM/ kg) sobre o consumo de alimento diário (CDA), o ganho diário de importância (GDP), gordura dorsal (P2) (GD), área do olho da chuleta (AOCH) e ganho de tecido magro livre de gordura (GTMLG). Resultados. Para as variáveis CDA, GDP, GD, AOCH e GDTLMG, encontraram-se diferenças estatísticas significativas (p<0,05) entre os tratamentos, obtendose maiores rendimentos nos animais que receberam o tratamento com o máximo nível STp e LYSEM na dieta. Discussão. O incremento no gasto energético de manutenção pelo uso de níveis crescentes de STp e LYSEM está sócio em parte, ao incremento de até um 60% na taxa de troca protéico, e a uma redução na lipogénesis, mais do que por um efeito na lipólises. Conclusões: O uso de STp poderia incrementar o peso dos porcos ao sacrifício, sem demérito do pagamento pela qualidade da canal.Introducción.
