This study aims to analyze the relationship between ethics and science, from the epistemology of Karl Popper. The starting point is the Popper conviction that, although there is no scientific basis for ethics, there is an ethical basis for science. In this sense, Popper's philosophy allows us to understand the ethical implications of scientific practice, especially in those areas of science with the greatest potential ethical, i.e., with the possibility of greater moral significance of the decisions taken in the name of science.
