Observación, teorías y valores a la luz de la filosofía de Popper

I attempt to show that Karl R. Popper proposed the ‘theoretical charge thesis of observation’ before some philosophers of science considered ‘postpositivism’ (Hanson, Kuhn and Feyerabend), since in Logic of Scientific Discovery (1934) he offers reasons in favor of this thesis based on real scientific practice and on logic and linguistic considerations. In fact, one can find this thesis in The two fundamental problems of epistemology (1930-1933), as in this manuscript, Popper presents something similar to his ‘evolutionary epistemology’. I explain that Popper’s pragmatic and biological perspective of knowledge is conducive to the conclusion that there is an ‘evaluative charge of observation’ and that an ‘axiological neutrality’ is not possible in knowledge or science, because values are, precisely, its condition of possibility.Se sostiene que Karl R. Popper planteó la ‘tesis de la carga teórica de la observación’ antes que algunos de los filósofos de la ciencia considerados ‘pospositivistas’ (Hanson, Kuhn y Feyerabend), pues en Lógica de la investigación (1934) presenta argumentos a favor de esta tesis basados en la práctica científica real y de tipo lógico-lingüístico. De hecho, esta tesis se puede encontrar desde Los dos problemas fundamentales de la teoría del conocimiento (1930-1933), pues en ese manuscrito, apoyado en psicólogos biologicistas, Popper presenta algo semejante a su posterior ‘epistemología evolutiva’.
