Catalytic Wet Peroxide Oxidation (CWPO) relies on the oxidation of organic pollutants in water under mild operating conditions (T=25-130 ºC, P=1-5 atm) using hydrogen peroxide as oxidant. It represents an emerging technology whose main challenge, currently limiting its industrial application, is the development of catalysts capable of combining a good activity along with an adequate stability for long- term use and high efficiency of H2 O2 consumption.
