Afghanistan is immersed in a real crossroads. The announcement of the withdrawal of the bulk of the troops to the ISAF opens up many questions about the actual capacity of the Kabul government to conduct a State. This analysis, far from taking anything for granted, facing the main questions: how Afghanistan can be considered as a viable state? How far there is an Afghan nation to support it? And finally, to what extent the country is ready to strengthen democracy? For each of these items I propose a diagnostic and then I emphasize some arguments to solve the problems previously identified.
