This article describes and analizes the results of a study done in the municipal district of Humaitá � AM, with 39 (thirty-nine) literacy teachers, in 2011, aiming: identify the theoretical conceptions and appropriation on the psychogenesis of the written language of the teachers in the research. For the research and analysis of the dada, the qualitative approach of research was chosen, the type of case study, and for the construction of the data, questionnaires and interviews were applied. The results after the analysis of the data, showed that almost 70% of the people interviewed do not know the theory, and only 12(twelve) people stated having little knowledge, even so, giving vague and generical definitions.
