Contrarreforma educativa en Colombia

The main objective of this text is to present the results of a study on the transformations that in the last two decades has undergone the Colombian University, in the perspective of showing a broader historical context w h i c h g o e s b e y o n d p u r e l y c y c l i c a l transformations. This text explores four aspects: firstly, some characteristics of the educational neoliberalism are addressed and the way how it is linked with capitalism in Colombia; secondly, it examines how neoliberalism has operated in the Colombian University in the last two decades, relating as a starting point the military spending and the education spending; subsequently, the Bill n° 112 is analyzed; and, finally, some aspects of the movement of protest against this project are identified.El objetivo principal de éste texto es presentar los resultados de un estudio realizado sobre las transformaciones que en las dos últimas décadas ha sufrido la universidad colombiana, en la perspectiva de mostrar un contexto histórico más amplio que vaya más allá de lo puramente coyuntural. En este texto se estudian cuatro aspectos: en primer término, se recuerdan algunas características del neoliberalismo educativo y la manera cómo se vincula con el capitalismo en Colombia; en segundo lugar, s e e x a m i n a c ó m o h a o p e r a d o e l neoliberalismo en la universidad colombiana en las dos últimas décadas, relacionando como punto de partida el gasto militar y el gasto educativo; posteriormente, se analiza el Proyecto de Ley 112; y, por último, se señalan algunos aspectos sobre el movimiento de protesta contra ese proyecto
