James S. Reeder is the appointed preacher for the Eaton Circuit, under the supervision of James B. Finley, Presiding Elder of the Lebanon District. Reeder provides a wonderful account of the recent Eaton Circuit Quarterly Meeting. Folks were very disappointed that Finley could not attend due to a last minute illness. Reeder describes all of the meetings and worship services, including a wonderful revival at the end in which we had several shouts and nearly all in the house wept. The stewards have agreed to send Finley $7.00 per quarter. Reeder also sends quarterly statistics to Finley. Abstract Number - 1214https://digitalcommons.owu.edu/finley-letters/2194/thumbnail.jp
