The data for this report on Planning Area V was developed from field work conducted in 1973, tabulations and re-checks taking place in 1974 and 1975. The data base consists of municipal tax sheets showing actual use of the lots and parcels of land shown, re-checked through aerial photo interpretation and in-field spot checks. Data presentation here describes land by types of use or use groups. The data is comparative for each Planning Area of which there are six in the County. The existing land use is interfaced with environmental and other developmental constraints and the 1968 County Development Plan. The resultant analysis provides the basis for policy statements about development both at a local level and within the countywide context ...
