Public Participation in the Remediation and Restoration Process: Remediation efforts, such as Superfund in Butte, have lasting impacts on the communities involved and citizens deserve to be part of the decision making. Many avenues exist for engagement, both within and outside of the official process. A well educated and involved public can help guide the remediation and restoration process for the lasting benefit of all
