1965 Minutes of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association

The 1965 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association met at Lawndale Baptist Church in Lawndale, NC and Zion Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. Gardner-Webb reported that it graduated its first African American student the previous year. They also reported that Dover Campus Center was being built and that a campus layout for the next 20-25 years was being drawn up. The Historian reported that a history of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association was to be written.
