The stroke is a disease that most affects the nervous central system, and it is the leading cause of physical and cognitive disability, leading to muscles paralysis on one body’s side and with higher incidence in patients between 75 and 85 years old. This study aimed to evaluate the influence of group therapy to improve functionality and balance of hemiparetic subjects. 12 subjects affected by stroke, of both genders, with the mean age of 59,85 (±7,24) years, that were able to get around the city on foot and with or without the aid of crutches or canes took part in this study.
