Luminescent colloidal semiconductor nanocrystals have attracted prominent attention for the last three decades since their size-dependent optical properties were discovered. Numerous applications in fields of light conversion such as light-emitting diodes (LED), photovoltaics, medicine, lasers and TV displays were developed.
