Da multiresistente Bakterienstämme ein häufiges Problem darstellen, besteht Bedarf an neuen Verbindungen, die keine Resistenzen hervorrufen. Eine solche Verbindungsklasse stellen die kationischen antimikrobiellen Peptide dar (\(\textit {cationic antimicrobial peptides}\), AMPs). Mithilfe von Festphasenpeptidsynthese wurden Peptide und deren Metallocenanaloga (Ferrocen- und Ruthenocenbiokonjugate) hergestellt und auf ihre biologische Aktivität untersucht.
