Treballs Finals del Màster d'Economia, Facultat d'Economia i Empresa, Universitat de Barcelona, Curs: 2017-2018, Tutors : Jesús Marín Solano ; Jorge NavasThe right management of the resources has become one of the hottest topics in the social debate. In order to give some insights on how to manage them correctly, we have extended a switching natural resources model. A Piecewise Closed-loop Nash Equilibrium differential game is studied, where agents decide the amount of the resource they extract and when to switch to a new and more efficient technology. We investigate different models introducing a renewable resource and then, they are extended under a more general utility function. Interior solutions are analysed. Our results are simulated,...
In this paper a differential game model of renewable resource ex-ploitation is considered in which f...
As a consequence of global environmental change, management strategies that can deal with unexpected...
We consider a general control problem with two types of optimal regime switch. The first one concern...
This paper is concerned with the classic topic of intertemporal resource economics: the optimal harv...
We investigate the extraction plan of present-biased decision makers managing a renewable resource s...
In this paper, we propose a dynamical model of technology adoption for the exploitation of a renewab...
A two-stage non-standard optimal control problem with time inconsistent preferences is studied. In a...
Traditional economic theory, up to the middle of the twentieth century, builds up the production fun...
It is reasonable to consider the stock of any renewable resource as a capital stock and treat the ex...
Exploitation of non–renewable resources is an intensively studied field of environmental economics i...
