The number of deaths from smoking reach 300 thousand every year. The average age at start of smoked nationwide is 17.6 years. The high number of smokers at a young age shows that public awareness of the dangers of smoking is still very low. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between implementasi of policy illustrations on cigarette packs and self efficacy with the smoking behavior of students. Subjects and Method : Design of this research areobservational analytic with cross sectional. Population was male student Health Polytechnic Surakarta academic year 2014/2015. Sample used 71 people with simple random sampling technique. The technique of collecting data used questionnaires. Analysis of data used multiple logistic regression. Result:There is a relationship between illustrated the dangers of smoking cigarette advertising on cigarette packs and smoking behavior (OR= 2,87 ; CI=95%; 0,91 until 9,03 ; p = 0,071). There is a relationship between self-efficacy and smoking behavior (OR= 0,23 ; CI=95%; 0,07 until 0,74; p = 0,013). Implementation of policy illustrations on cigarette packs and self-efficacy were able to explain the smoking behavior of 16.2% and 83.8% explained by other factors outside the research model. Conclusion:There is a relationship between illustrated the dangers of smoking cigarette advertising on cigarette packs and self-eficacy on smoking behavior.
