Evaluasi Penggunaan Antibiotik Pada Diare Akut Pediatri

Acute diarhea is the main cause of children mortality in developing country. The biggest cause is infection, so it needs antibiotic in healing. The aim of this research is to know the evaluation of using antibiotic on pediatric acute diarhea in hospitalization instalation in Dr. Moewardi regional public hospital of drugs and dose compared with Pediatric Medication Handbook dan Acute Diarrhea in Adult and Children (WGO, 2012). The kind of this research is non eksperimental research with retrospective data study which is showed medical record note of pediatric acute diarhea patient which is used antibiotic treatment. Technique which is used for data collection is purposive sampling technique (non probability sampling) that be found from medical record result along 1 January 2015 until 30 June 2015 and the participants were 29 patients that have fulfilled inclusive criterian. The data were processed using desciptive analysis. The output of result showed that the evaluation of using antibiotic such as: ampicillin, amoxicillin, cefotaxime, ceftriaxone, metronidazole, cotrimoxazole, cefotaxime-gentamicin and metronidazole-cotrimoxazale compared with Pediatric Medication Handbook dan Acute Diarrhea in Adult and Children (WGO, 2012).
