The following project treats the terms «utopia» and «irony». It sets them as educational methods in the works of Erasmus and More during the Renaissance. An a posteriori method is followed and since the above concepts are being analysed, at first it is proved that «utopia» is «irony» and secondly that both «utopia» and «irony» are educational methods. One comes to this conclusion after having studied every ideological parameter of the aims of the philosophic ideas being examined, that of the Utopia by Thomas More and the Moronism’s Encomium by Erasmus.
